how to send the information in a dreamweaver form to an e-mail address?

I mean, I do put the mailto: in the action panel inside properties, but instead of sending the information to my e-mail it opens me a new window with the e-mail where it’s supposed to be send, where the info appears in the e-mail’s body for the user to send it… and I don’t want that, I want for it to send it automatically to the email when the user clicks the submit button.
