If your state accepts approved incident reports electronically (instead of mailing the disk) you can do this in 3 easy steps. 1. Generate your submission file simply follow the steps outlined in chapter 2B of the User Manual. Be sure to enter initial and final dates using the 4 digit year format. Instead of saving the file to the A:\ drive or floppy, save it to the c:\ directory on your pc. 2. Using your e-mail program compose a new e-mail addressed to the organization that is accepting your data electronically. IMPORTANT: please make sure you follow the instructions set forth by your state. Some states may require that the message has a specific subject line. 3.
