How to send a text message from Brazil to Australia (mobile-mobile)?
Hi, Notastar is correct, you have to take out the zero from the start of the australian number. From Brazil to Australia, you have to go like this: +61 41xxxxxxxxx (that’s 9 digits after the 41, which is usually how mobile phone numbers start) From Australia to Brazil, you have to go like this: +55 YY xxxxxxxxx YY = area code (like 21 to Rio, 11 to SP, etc) and xxxxxxxxx is the mobile number in Brazil, 9 digits, make sure you have the correct number. Regarding the possibility of not having interconnection agreement between the two cellular provider you and your folk use their service, I don’t believe this may be the case, because all the Brazilian telecom companies have agreements with all Australian telecom companies, but you should call your provider to be sure anyway. One question: are you or your friend in roaming? Because that might me the problem… a lot of companies don’t have SMS roaming agreements. So if this is the case, unfortunately there’s nothing you can do about it, sor
