How to save a document on a floppy disk?

0

In order for you to save a document to a floppy, you must first have a floppy drive. On the back of the floppy is a small black lock on the lower right corner. It should be in the unlocked position. With the label side up, slide the end with the metal slider into the floppy drive and push gently until you hear the disk lock in place. Go into the program you’re using to make your document and click either save or save as and chose drive A:. The A: drive is usually reserved for the floppy drive. Make sure your file has a name and click save. The drive will make noises that it is copying the data. When the light on the drive turns off, your disk can be removed from the drive by pushing the floppy release lock sicking out near the edge of the opening.
