1. Run cbf 2. Go to DBMS Server and select ‘Duplicate’ 3. Type a name for the new server 4. Edit the startup count. Make it 1 5. Select ‘Databases’ to choose what databases the new server should use 6. Repeat steps 2 to 5 for all the servers you want to create 7. Restart Ingres On ingres versions prior to 1.2, edit the $II_SYSTEM/ingres/files/rundbms.opt and copy/save the file with a different name, ie, rundbms2.opt, then runrundbms rundbms2.opt. On vms edit ii_system:[ingres.utility]rundbms.
