To reupholster a sofa, measure all of the dimensions. Next, remove the old fabric from the couch. Lay the new fabric on the floor and make sure it is flat. Trace the shape and dimensions of the cushion onto the cloth, and cut these pieces out. Using a staple gun, you can attach the cloth onto the frame of the couch. Using a sewing machine, you can sew together the pieces of cloth cut out, in order to put them over the cushions.
