How to restore original files? In other words – how to get files unchanged?
There is an option “Create files backup copy” which allows to store original files under new names. Names of the original files will be formed with using their names plus an “bak” extension. So for restoring original files there is a need to remove bak extension inside backup files. In other words these files need to be renamed without bak extension. For doing this please perform the following steps: 1. Select all backup files which you want to restore. 2. Press to the Shift + F6 to rename files. 3. Leave only one asterisk symbol in the mask field. That allows to name files to the names without extensions. 4. Press to the Ok button and perform operation of renaming. So file which name is document.doc.bak will be with the new name – document.doc. etc.
