How to Restore Missing Search Option in Windows Vista Start Menu After Installing SP1?
When you install SP1 in Windows Vista, it removes “Search” option from start menu and you’ll no longer be able to use it from start menu. You can still access it using “F3” key. This tutorial will tell you how can you restore the missing “Search” option in Start menu. We’ll use a workaround, we’ll replace existing “Run” option or “Help & Support” option to restore the missing “Search” option. Restore Search by Replacing “Run” Option in Start Menu: 1.
