How to rescan computer for movie clips?
I recently bought a new Mac loaded with Snow Leopard and tried to use Migration Assistant to transfer the clips from my old G5 Mac running Leopard. Unfortunately, after a call to Applecare, I discovered that such a transfer was not possible with Migration Assistant and was told to copy my Movies folder on my new Mac. I did that but now, when browsing through the clips in iMovie they don’t appear in the preview window. I get sound but with a black background. Since I don’t have that many projects, I presume my best option is to do a complete rescan of all the clips on my mac including those in iPhoto. Thanks in advance for the help.
