How to Replace Vista All Programs List with Window XP Styled Classic All Programs List in Windows Vista?
Some people using Vista complain about the All Programs list in Vista Start menu. They want to revert back to Window XP Styled Classic All Programs list. This tutorial will help you in accomplishing this. Default All Programs list in Vista Start menu: Figure 1 XP Styled Classic All Programs list in Vista Start menu: Figure 2 You can accomplish this in the following way: 1) Open Registry Editor and navigate to the key branch HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Explorer\Shell Folders in the left pane Figure 3 2) Now double click the Favorites string value in the right pane 3) Type or copy C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs in the Value data textbox and press OK button Note: If Vista is installed on the drive partition other than C: then you need to replace it with that drive partition in the above path.
