How to replace tubes in a tube amp?

0

Swich off and disconnect the amp. Un box the amp. You will have decided which tubes you are changing. Ensure tubes are cold. Remove metal tube covers if fitted. To prevent cuts from breakage, and to keep the tube envelop clean, wrap dry cloth around tube. With a gentle rocking motion pull the tube you want to change from the socket. Double check you are fitting the right tube. Wrap new tube in the cloth and ensuring tube pins are properly aligned with the socket, push tube firmly into place. Replace tube covers if fitted. Box it up and make noise !
