I recently broke the driver side mirror on my altima and would like to replace it myself. What I need to know is how to get to the screw housing in the door. If anyone knows how or knows where I could find the information online I would be thankful. A: you will probably have to take the inside door panel off or loose to be able to get at the 3 10millimeter nuts that hold the mirror on, take the nuts off and if the mirror is electric, unplug the connector to it and pull the mirror out and reinstall the new one.
