1. Remove the top and front panel of the dryer cabinet. 2. The idler pulley is located at the front of the clothes dryer drive motor. Press it toward the rear of the motor mounting plate and remove the belt. 3. Remove the pulley by lifting it and pulling it through the front. 4. Now disconnect the idler pulley from the dryer base. This is accomplished by removing the mounting bolts at the bottom of the machine. 5. Put the new pulley into place and retrace your steps to finish up the repair. Make certain the drum is sitting properly.
