How to Replace Defender Windscreen Washer Jet?
Hi all, On a recent trip to Kanangra Walls, a stray stone from another vehicle managed to find and shatter the front half (v-piece) of my front windscreen washer jet, before going on to crack the windscreen (oh joy). Insurance will replace the windscreen for free, but not the washer jet – without an excess. So… I want to know how hard is it to replace it myself – assuming I source the part from Simmonites or one of the other web stores. I was tempted to yank the remaining ‘trunk’ with some pliers, but knowing my luck with cause more damage – so I thought I’d check with you guys first. Any idea how to remove / replace this? And any good leads on where to find the replacement welcomed. Thanks guys.
