How to replace a CV Joint Boot?

Here is a link to instructions on how to remove the CV half shafts and boots for a typical front wheel drive car: http://wiki.rockauto.com/1987%20MAZDA%20… The CV joint boots cost less than $10, but as the above instructions demonstrate, a lot of time is spent on disassembly and reassembly.
