How to repair and reset the Windows Vista TCP/IP Winsock ?
The TCP/IP stack Winsock settings in Windows can sometimes get corrupted, causing various problems with internet connectivity. Such corruption can be caused by various networking software installations, or virus/malware infections. Corrupt Winsock can cause various networking errors, including unability to surf the internet with “Page cannot be displayed” browser error, even though the network card appears to be connected.
