How to renew certificate in IIS5 with Service Pack 2?
1. Go to your Website and right click , select “Properties”. 2. Select “Directory Security”. 3. Choose “Server Certificate”. 4. You will be presented with a Wizard , Click “Next”. 5. Select “Renew the current certificate”, Click “Next”. 6. Select ” Prepare the request now , but send later”, Click “Next”. 7. Enter a filename for the certificate request (This is the CSR that you need to save) 8. It will show you all the information of your renewal request which is exactly the same as your previous certificate. Click “Next” to generate the renewal CSR . 9. Click “Finish” and your request will be saved to your specified file.
