I’ve done this a few times myself and whatever you do, do not simply pull it off. You’ll have glue residue stuck to your windows which is a pain to remove. What you should do is use a normal hair dryer. Not a heat gun! This could damage your car. Simply blow hot air on the area you are about to pull away and slowly peel the film off. Move the hair dryer along as you pull the film away. It takes quite a while to take it off properly so patience is a virtue!
