How to remove trimmer head from Echo 230 SRM?
I am trying to remove the trimmer head that the Echo 230 SRM trimmer came with and replace it with a new U-Turn trimmer head. I read manuals and have not had any positive results. I even went to the place where I bought it from Home Depot and it’s sad to say that they don’t even know how to change it. Now if you ask me that’s a disgrace. I took off the bottom spool section. After one takes off the nut and washer, what’s left if the threaded screw and a spring loaded piece that is not coming out because it turns in both directions. If there is anyone out there that can be of assistance I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance.
