How to remove the cross bars on 7 Chevy Tahoe???
The cross bars can only be removed by taking the ends of the side rails loose and sliding the cross bars off the end. This is to prevent them from flying off as you drive down the highway if they are not properly installed or latched. If you are trying to remove them because of wind noise, they have a certain place on the side rail to place them in order to reduce wind noise.
