Dear Tonyat88, A simple and inexpensive way to remove mild surface imperfections (such as rust) from chrome is with fine grade steel wool – check your local hardware store for grade 0000, and glass cleaner. This works wonders on exhaust pipes, wheels, etc. Once you have them clean, apply a chrome polish (such as Mothers) as directed to protect and inhibit future damage.
