How to Remove old vent covers no screws?
Most just fit together tightly and will come apart with a little pulling and wiggling. Their could be paint of corrosion sticking them together in which case you may have to use a penetrating oil/solvent on the seam and hope for the best. Its possible that if its very very old, it was soldered in place – in which case it will have to be heated with a torch at the seam (better left to a professional). Worst case, saw it apart and repair with a coupler.
