Great question and thank you for participating. You cant actually remove msn however, you can shut it down and keep it from starting when you boot into windows. This will keep it from running in your background unseen which uses up memory. Simply click on “Start” then on “Run” Type msconfig into the box. Once you’re there, dot the “selective startup” and then click on the “startup” tab at the top. Find MSN on the list and uncheck it’s box. Be sure to click “apply” or “ok” afterwards to save the changes. Then just close everything up. You’ll need to restart the machine so that the new change can take effect. When booting back into windows, a pop up box will let you know that a change has been made and it will continue to pop up each time you restart unless you put a check in the box that says “Dont bother me with this message again.” Thanks again, Larry.
