How to remove factory head unit in a 2000 Honda Civic Ex coupe?
I’m looking to upgrade my factory head unit so I can use my I-pod. I’ve done it on other cars but never a Honda Civic. It looks like you are lucky – 1996-1998 Civics integrated the remote keyless entry receiver into the radio, requiring the old radio to be mounted under the dash just to keep the keyless entry working! The 1999-2000 instructions do not have that warning.
