How to remove drawers on chests and dressers?
• It is often necessary to remove drawers from a case to remove items that become stuck, or to remove the top drawer to gain accessibility to the screws that secure the top to the case sides and back when making repairs. (Note: make sure the case is free of items in the drawer and that nothing is left on top to fall.) To remove the drawer pull the drawer until you feel a tension-stop, then place one hand in the top middle front of the drawer and one underneath in the middle and give it a quick yank the drawer will over-ride the drawer stop and become easy to remove. Be careful not to cut your hands on the metal part of the drawer guide.
