How to Read Air Condition Gauge Manifold?
The automotive air conditioning manifold gauges are essential for diagnosing problems with the system. The gauges show the state of charge and the pressures existing within the system at different stages, indicating specific problems. Be aware that not following proper procedure or deviating can be hazardous. There is high pressure present in the air conditioning system and accidental release could cause injury. There are two gauges–one gauge and line is blue and the other is red. The blue side is the suction or low side and the red is the high-pressure side.
