SASTRA is between Trichy – Thanjavur national highway. Trichy and Thanjavur are well connected by roads with Chennai and Bangalore. Note: From Chennai, if you are planning to start on April 3rd night, kindly start earlier so that you can reach SASTRA with ease. Lately there is an increase in traffic congestion between Chennai – Trichy national highway. If you are coming by train to trichy, go to trichy central busstand and take a bus to Thanjavur or Kumbakonam. Ask for Shanmugha or SASTRA University stop. If you are coming by train to thanjavur, take a bus to New bus stand and from there take a bus to Trichy, ask for Shanmugha or SASTRA University stop.
