Your PSP may only play songs that are in MP3 file format, Plug a USB 2.0 cable into both the PSP and your computer. Switch on the PSP and press the ‘Home’ button. Go to ‘Settings’ and then the ‘USB Connection’, pressing the X button to display the USB Connection. Once the USB Connection has been activated, the computer will also detect the new USB device. On your computer, select the correct drive and then open the PSP file system. Create a new folder and name it. From your computer, copy all the saved MP3 files into the new PSP folder. Once all the music files have been copied, press the O button on the PSP and disconnect the USB cable.
