How to properly flush out my engine cooling system?
Well, I may be a hack, but it’s not like changing out a head gasket or anything. At the bottom of the radiator is a drain ****. You’ll need a sturdy container with a good lid or cap to catch the fluid in. Make sure the car is not hot or there is a risk of burning yourself. Make sure the car is off. Uncap the radiator, and open the drain **** into the container. Let it drain. Your local auto store will have a radiator flush. Ask an employee how much you need to buy. Close the drain **** and pour the flush in, the directions on the flush will also tell you how much water to add as well. Probably to fill. Then run the car for a bit (the flush will say for how long). Then you will want to drain that into another safe container. Depending of the flush you buy, you may need to repeat this process with water to clear all the flush out. Then add new antifreeze/coolant (mix 50/50) and you should be good. This is how a flush is done. It may not help though because from what you are describing, I
