Now this is just a suggestion – I haven’t had anythign like this happen to me but… Check the foot of the climbing frame etc – I bet they all have little plastic covers over the feet, yes? Well you can try earthing the frame, tuck a piece of wire round the leg of the frame somewhere out of the way and convenient, and wind it right down the leg and stick it into the earth. There should be room to do this under the foot of the slide piece. This should take away any build-up of static from the frame.
