I have experienced my duvet cover not holding firmly in the same way and the comforter lumps at the bottom of the cover. It does not give me the required warmth I expect from my comforter. I have always wondered if there are some ways to prevent it from happening again. Here are few techniques I tried personally. I bought the clips from online vendors. I tried to clip the corners of the comforter inside the cover with the duvet cover in all four corners. It was holding fine for some time. Since I roll a lot during my sleep, I could notice it coming out of the bind when I get up in the morning. It had become my routine to clip each night before I sleep. I was tired of that practice and I tried to use dual clips but in vain. They were not firm as I expect. They get loosened up easily.
