An easy way to do it if you’re not pressing a whole lot of flowers is too stick them in between the pages in the middle of a large book (like a dictionary). You might want to put another book on top of the one the flowers are in for more weight. Wait a few days and the flowers should be dry. If you’ve got larger amounts of flowers to press, you might buy a plant press (I think you should be able to find one at a crafts store) or make your own. To make your own plant press, you need a couple pieces of wood; maybe 1/4″ plywood cut to 8.5X11″ or 11X14″. This makes the outer frame of the press. Inside, you’ll want pieces of cardboard (cut to the size of the wood) and either blotter paper (if you can get it easily) or newspapers. Sandwich each plant between layers of paper and sandwich the paper between layers of cardboard. Tie a rope around the the wood and cardboard/paper/plant sandwich, making it as tight as possible.
