How to play ps2 Iso, discs or PSX Iso or back-up discs in a 40 Gb ps3?
There is 1) no way to make a ps3 play an .iso of any kind of game, legal or not 2) no way to make the 40gb ps3 emulate a ps2 game, even if there were an .iso loader 3) while some fools are trying to make .iso loaders for ps3, nobody has actually succeeded, everyone who claims to has been a hoax so far, and ultimately any .iso loader would require extensive hardware mods to work anyway. Mods are out with ps3. Sony’s firmware is in control and can easily be upgraded to detect any known mod (if you do a mod, it’s a known mod) meaning you’ll be banned for it, and will have to give up online games and PSN, as well as all the games that require you to log in to PSN to start the game. That is just about bricking your ps3 for the sake of turning it into a ps2. Don’t do it, if and when it becomes possible.
