How to Play Football Squares
Football squares is usually played for money. A 10×10 grid is formed with the numbers 0 through 9 across the top and down the side. One teams name is written across the top and the other down the side. If playing for money, each square on the grid will cost a certain price. Several people buy the squares they choose or the squares may be assigned randomly. There are different ways of playing, either quarters, halves, or the entire game, in which a set payout amount will be determined. The payout money is awarded based on the last digit of the score for each team in the football game. If playing per quarter, and the score at the end of the first quarter is Team A, 10 and Team B, 3, then whoever has the 0/3 square is the winner. Make sure to check which number is for which team, because it may have a different winner if Team A had 3 and Team B had 10.
