How to Plant Avacado Seeds?
A beautiful plant can be grown from avocado seeds. Simply put the pointed end up, insert three evenly spaced toothpicks about one third to half way down. Use the toothpicks to suspend the seed into a jar of water. Make sure the bottom of the seed stays covered with water. Roots and leaves should appear within 2 to 6 weeks. Once these are well developed, the plant should be potted in a 4 to 5 inch pot with porous fertile soil.
