How to partition the disk?

0

e-Lar provides multiple disks cyclic recording, so carefully plan the disk partitions to store live images at max recording days. Normally for the multiple disks, we can partition those disks with D:, E:, F: G:, , Y at total 24 partitions (not include CD-ROM, C: and Floppy A as well as B). If total available disk space for recording is below 240Gbytes, we suggest each partition is around 10 Gbytes. For over 240 Gbytes, select number of partitions and partition size at (Total recording space / No of Partitions). E-Lar removes the full partition which is the oldest time when all of disk partitions are full, not remove film by film.
