How To Overcome The Thinning Of The Ozone Layer?
As an individual, you can only do your small part. If we are going to save the Ozone it is going to require major changes in our society as a whole and it will require sacrificing some of our creature comforts (Not just a few of us, but everyone). People don’t like to give these up, so chances are it will require a more forceful approach. Only when people understand that the future of life (all forms) will die when the Ozone layer is gone, will they start to listen. There is no amount of technology that can protect us from a lack of Ozone. Gamma rays can penetrate deep into the earth’s crust. We won’t even survive if we go underground! Only when families realize that one day their children will die because they didn’t do something about it sooner, will any great sacrifices be made. Hopefully, we can get through to people before this day comes so we don’t have to watch a cancer like plague kill the entire planet.
