How to obtain a Professional Degree in Psychology? Is it necessary to have BA?
I’m not sure about the educational policies in India, but in the United States it depends on what you mean by professional degree in psychology. Also, I am unaware of what a B.Com graduate is, or the academic credentials required to be a graphologist. If you’ve already acquired a bachelor’s degree in some other field, there is a chance you could get accepted to some masters programs, but not doctorate’s programs. The extraneous variable here is your competition. Being accepted to graduated programs in psychology are very competitive. So even if you have a stellar transcript, the fact that you don’t have a lot of psych classes will hurt you, considering that your competition (the other students applying to the grad program) will more than likely have a wealth of experience in psychology, therefore they’ll be chosen over you.
