How to Measure Dew Point?
Here is the simplest way I know to measure the dew point. The dew point is the temperature at which the air becomes filled with water vapor during the time at which air is cooled by removing the sensible heat. The simplest way to measure this is to cool the surface temperature until water vapor begins to condense. You can create a measuring device using a shiny tin can, a thermometer and some ice cubes. Fill the can with ice water, and slowly add ice cubes and use the thermometer to stir the water. When condensation occurs on the outside of the can, read the temperature on the thermometer. This is you dew point measurement.
