How to match latitude/longitude data grid on europe map ?
I am a Master Mariner and been at sea whole my life dealing with maps and compasses so here is the solution to your answer, you need ‘Mercator Map’ which is also called in marine terms as ‘Mercator Chart’ because the Lat Long are straight lines and crossing each other at 90 degrees (right angles) whilst the ‘Gnomonic Map’ or ‘Gnomonic Chart’ is a map like the actual earth and Lat Long are merged at the poles and widening as coming towards equator.
