How to manage multiple libraries in iTunes 7?
First, ensure you have a latest iTunes 7 (Click Help -> About iTunes or download iTunes). Backup current iTunes files: The location for these files are in the folder “C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\My Documents\My Music\iTunes\”. Save these files to the desktop or on another partition of your harddrive. You need to backup the Library.xml file and your music folder. Create a new library: • Click on iTunes icon. • Hold down the Shift key (Option key on Macs) and press the Enter key.
