A. this disease mainly occurs in light soils. seperate the disease infected area from the rest of the field by digging a pit of 1m deep 50 cm width to arrest the spread of the fungi to healthy plants. use green manures in plenty. avoid cutting the roots as this fungi infects through cut roots. apply 50 g trichoderma viridae every year along with 5kg neem cake.
