This is a good base to start with, just combine the two and bring to a low boil, then let simmer for about an hour to let the flavors blend together. Since your Italian Seasoning has Basil, Oregano, Thyme, Marjoram and Rosemary in it, I would add more fresh basil, garlic is a must, onion powder, fresh diced onions, (crushed Red Pepper for a little kick, optional) Diced tomatoes, crushed tomatoes (either or both) Olive Oil, Romano Cheese, Black Pepper, Salt and a bit of sugar to cut the acidity of the tomatoes. If you don’t have these additional items, that’s ok, just use whatever you have. But, Garlic and extra basil (outside your Italian Blend) are must haves, in my opinion. Anyways, I hope this helps you out tonight to make a delicious Marinara Sauce!
