If you want to make poi, you’ll need taro, or dasheen as it’s sometimes called. After scrubbing the taro, cut it into 2-inch pieces and boil it until it’s soft. Then blend the taro in a food processor with a little bit of water. Now you’ve got poi, enjoy!
