How to make Messenger Detect record all MSN chats in my network?
1. If in your network, the computers are connected by a Hub, you do not need to change anything, Messenger Detect will record all chats in your network through this Hub. 2. If in your network, the computers are connected by Switch, you need to config the “port mirroring”, “SPAN”, or “management port” functions of your Switch to monitor the LAN traffic at one designated switch port where your computer is connected, and on that computer Messenger Detect should be installed. For more information on availability of such features and configuration instructions, please refer to the documentation of your Switch. 3. If your Router and/or Switch does not support “port mirroring”, “SPAN”, “management port” or related features, please refer to the next question.
