How to make Messenger Detect record all chats on my local network?
If you have a switch that supports port mirroring or port monitoring feature, you can connect the mirror port to the computer where Messenger Detect is installed, then all the LAN traffic will be mirrored to that designated switch port, so that Messenger Detect can catch all the chat occured on your LAN. For more information on availability of such features and configuration instructions, please refer to the documentation of your Switch. If you want to add some wireless computers and monitor them, you can connect a wireless router to a normal port on the switch, and all wireless computers connect to the wireless router, in this way, all wireless traffic will also be monitored.
