How to Make Handmade Paper?
Handmade paper is fun and really easy to make. Take your junk mail and tear it into tiny pieces (no larger than 1″). Then put the paper pieces into your blender and cover them with warm water. Let the paper sit in the water for about 15 minutes to soak before turning on your blender. After 15 minutes, turn the blender on and blend the pieces into pulp. Strain most of the water out of the pulp and spread and smooth the pulp onto a fine wire, mesh screen. Take a sponge and dab at the pub to remove more of the water. Let the pulp dry for at least 24 hours or until dry to the touch. Peel your handmade paper off the screen and write someone a beautiful letter!
