For starters, you should have your mom go to either a general merchandise store (Target, Walmart) or pharmacy and pick up some oatmeal bath packets. It is pulverized oatmeal powder. Disolved oatmeal has the same ph as healthy skin, so can sooth and help heal your skin without drying, making it oily, or clogging your pores. It’s good for your hair, too. (The water will look murky, but it will not leave a residue on your hair) This will help with healing. I would also recommend treating the pox on your face as you would pimples that got picked at too much. While you are in the tub, use a wet wash cloth to blot the dried pox (*don’t* rub – just blot to disolve the crusty matter). Once the matter is removed, use a smooth cotton cloth (like t-shirt fabric or similar) and press on each spot until it stops weeping (fluid stops seeping out).
