How to Make Bracelets Out of String?
I like to make bracelets out of colored braided string. These are easy to make since everyone knows how to braid. Braid 3 pieces of colorful string together and tie a knot at one end of the bracelet. On the other end of the bracelet make a loop just large enough to fit over the knot on the other end of the bracelet. This will be the clasp that holds your bracelet on. You should start with pieces of string that are long enough so that you end up with a bracelet that is 7-8″ long. You’ll have to experiment a bit to get the right length. Or if you have too much braid, just cut it off before you make your clasp.
