How to make an incremental backup with RIB-it?

0

• First the user should make a full backup using their usual preferred backup software (for example, Windows Backup) and then save it to a CD or DVD. • After this, any time the user wishes to make an incremental backup they should do the following: • Make a full backup with their habitual backup program (for example Windows Backup) and then save it to a temporary directory in the hard disk. • Execute RIB-it indicating in the field “Source” the location of the original full backup (point 1.1 above) that was saved to a CD or DVD. Then write in the “Target” field the address of the full backup you have just made (point 1.2.1) and which is located in the temporary directory of the hard disk. Next, in the “Incremental Backup” field put in a file name for the incremental backup you wish to make (would usually include the date of the backup) and the address in the temporary directory where you wish for RIB-it to generate the incremental backup. • Finally, click on the button “Create Backup”.
